About: Point by Point

60 minutes | Accompanied by a presentation | Required equipment: projector, screen, sound system, microphone or Madonna headset

Point by Point is a mindset that one of Shachar's coaches instilled in her, with the aim of getting her to focus on the closest point and ignore everything else.

Shachar's career soared to impressive heights, equipped with her most dominant trait – stubbornness.

Despite what Shachar herself admits – she is not particularly tall or athletic – she fought in the highest tennis arenas against top-ranked opponents, and for several years was ranked among the top 20 tennis players in the world.

Frequent mental battles were an integral part of Shachar's career, and in her lecture she shares:

  • How it all began
  • The support of the whole family
  • Career management principles
  • The coaches she worked with along the way
  • The tools she acquired over the years to cope with failures and set new goals each time over again.

Shachar delivers the lecture together with Dovik Peer – her father who supported, accompanied, advised and helped manage Shachar's career.
