"In a way, it also made people identify me with that period… You are the main mediator of information to tens of thousands of people at home, there is an excitement that cannot be ignored. But these days can also be a nightmare. The initial effect is fatigue, but not just fatigue, but a serious and general exhaustion that accompanies you even weeks later. There is a limit to how much the brain, nerves and adrenaline can bear without there being internal resistance to continue being in places where there is death and destruction. But the job demands it, so you have to put it aside and keep going.".
