Beatie Deutsch is an Israeli-American athlete who belongs to the Haredi community. She is the Israeli Marathon Champion from 2019 to 2022. In her captivating lecture "Winning the Marathon of Life" , Beatie takes us into her unique world and shares her story of how she balances being a Haredi woman, a mother of five children, and an Israeli marathon champion. She inspires us with her message of how to achieve any dream with a smile, faith, gratitude, and immense joy in one's heart.
About six years ago, when she was already a mother of five, Beti felt a burning desire within her. As a religious Zionist woman who made Aliyah, the pride she felt in representing Israel on the world stage was immense.
"It's important to listen to our hearts and to the inner truth that motivates us to action," Beti says. She invites us to listen and perhaps even try for ourselves, to step out of our "comfort zone" while testing and stretching the boundaries of our abilities, setting goals, and achieving objectives with great faith in God.
"I believe that God creates and places each person in the exact place that is right for them, and that is my place."

Beatie took up running just four years ago and recently went pro with the goal of qualifying for Tokyo 2020 and representing Israel in the Olympics.
